Community Events

Our members are dedicated to serving Charlton in more ways than firefighting...

• CVFD members maintain and clean a stretch of Charlton Road to keep it free of litter
  
• Participate in Charlton's Founder's Day Parade, Ballston Spa Holiday Parade and others throughout the year
  
• Year round: Fire Company donates to a number of area charities, teams and community events
• June: Grill sausage and peppers, hotdogs and hamburgers at Charlton Founder's Day Party in the Park
• September: Have Open House for Explore Charlton Weekend
• October: Conduct annual Fire Safety at Charlton Heights Elementary School annually
• October: Host annual Kids' Halloween at the Firehouse with refreshment, candy and pumpkin painting.
  
• October: The Charlton Ladies Auxillary sponsors a All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast for the the community
• December: The Fire Department hosts the Annual Ice Cream Sundae with Santa Party for the children in our community.  Santa, ice cream sundaes and refreshments.
