Annual Elections – Charlton Fire District #1
The Annual Election of the Charlton Fire District #1 will take place on December 9, 2025, between the hours of 6pm and 9pm at the Charlton Fire House located at 677 Charlton Road, for the purpose of: 1.) electing one commissioner for a five-year term commencing January 1, 2026, and ending December 31, 2031.
Only those persons who are residents of the Charlton Fire District and are registered to vote with the Saratoga Board of Elections on or before November 17, 2025, shall be eligible to vote.

Notice of Public Hearing

Charlton Fire District #1 will be holding a Public Hearing regarding the proposed purchase of new fire apparatus. The district is replacing the EMS Utilities vehicle and a first response vehicle to replace aging equipment and enhance fire protection services for our community, as outlined in our approved apparatus replacement plan. The meeting will occur on January 7, 2026, at 6:30pm, at the Charlton Volunteer Fire Department (677 Charlton Road Ballston Lake, NY 12019).
